Challenge

The Walmart Creative Studio was challenged with a critical but tactical workstream of paid media creative and display advertising, which pulled the focus of their seasoned senior creative team. Additionally, they inherited an inefficient and time-consuming model dependent on hiring, ramping, managing, and turning over temp creative resources to support seasonal work spikes, pulling valuable attention away from strategic priorities. As a result, they sought a fresh approach to delivering this business-critical work.

As Walmart Creative Studio’s dedicated agency partner, we quickly tailored and scaled a solution that included creative direction, design, copywriting, project management, motion graphics and animation, and account management. We led creative operations, including project meetings, kickoffs, and creative reviews, while integrating directly with Walmart’s tools and workflows for a seamless partnership. Supported Walmart’s 2023 transformation of its homepage and mobile apps with event-based asset kits, including event emails, CRM banners, event push notifications, tile takeovers, and merch modules.
